If you’re like us, our fur babies are super important to us and we take care of them any way we can. They are pretty spoiled and have it made.
We have two dogs. They like to play outside a lot. And one loves to sun bathe. lol We decided we needed a product that would protect their nose, pads and ears from the elements and pavement.
We created a paw balm that not only protects them, it’s safe for them if they lick it. There’s no harsh chemicals and nothing toxic. Just all natural ingredients. Bonus! Your hands get softer by applying this to your pets too.
This product protects your pets from harsh winds, excessive heat and/or excessive cold. This helps sooth and soften sore, dry, rough paws.
Just take a small amount, rub it between your fingers to “melt” it and then rub it on your pet; ears, paws or nose. Warning, your pets are going to love the massage you’re giving them and may ask for more with a nudge of their nose. 🙂
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Jojoba Wax, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Essential Oils
Coconut Oil provides a real deep moisture. Many commercial moisturizers contain a lot of water. As soon as the water dries, your skin becomes dry again. Also, many commercial brands contain petroleum-based ingredients which are very suffocating to the skin.
Coconut Oil helps strengthen your underlying tissues and helps remove dead skin cells that make your skin dry, rough and flaky. Bonus! It smells great.
Jojoba Wax looks and feels like an oil, but it’s a liquid wax. It aids in protecting the skin from dehydration and very moisturizing to the skin. Jojoba penetrates the skin deeply, slowing down the natural process of oxidizing lipids, which prevents premature aging.
Jojoba penetrates deep into your lower epidermis layers providing deep hydration. It’s good for sensitive skin and oily skin as it restores the normal skin hydration.
Beeswax has super conditioning properties and has a high anti-inflammatory action that calms and soothes the skin. It forms a protective barrier on the skin that helps protect you from the environment, but still holding in moisture, thus reducing dryness.
Beeswax has antibacterial properties, helping to keep your skin clean and it reduces risk of contamination of your body butter. It’s a good source of vitamin A, helps with healing wounds, reduces itching and has a natural honey fragrance.
Cocoa Butter is an amazing vegetable fat that’s been extracted from cocoa beans. It has an aroma of dark chocolate.
Cocoa Butter is valuable because of its high concentration of antioxidant compounds, including oleic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid. These are fatty acids that are beneficial for the body to help neutralize free radicals, particularly on the skin. Research has also shown cocoa butter to reduce the appearance of scars and improve the overall health of the skin.
Essential Oils used for relief and healing.
